Installation
Installation
Install the tools you want to use before importing an AnyRoute API key.
Install the client first, then import the AnyRoute base URL and API key from the Dashboard. Keeping installation separate from configuration makes it easier to identify whether a failure is caused by the tool itself or by an API setting.
What To Install
| Tool | Use when | Install page |
|---|---|---|
| Node.js / npm | You need CLI tools distributed through npm | Node.js |
| Claude Code | You use Anthropic-compatible coding workflows | Claude Code |
| Codex | You use OpenAI Responses or Codex workflows | Codex |
| Gemini CLI | You use Gemini-native workflows | Gemini CLI |
| OpenCode | You want a provider-configurable coding agent | OpenCode |
After installation, continue with Quickstart to create an API key and choose the correct provider group.
